PART TWO

Will stepped into the dark and old room. He got out his Torch and looked around.  “Wow!!!  This is a really old room.  It must have been here thousands of years!”

“Come along William,” said Dr. Smith, “We don't have time to waste you know.”

“Dr. Smith, Dad told us to look on this planet for any Aliens or Danger to the Ship.  He also told us that if we saw something suspicious we should call him straight away,” said Will.

“This is certainly NOT a suspicious place, it is just a old Cave that has been abandoned,” said Dr. Smith.

“Well I think it is and I am calling Dad,” said Will, “Dad this is Will, we have found a cave about 1 mile North from the Ship.  It is really old and there might be some life in it.  There is a large rock outside that is an oval shaped rock.  We will meet you there.”

“Okay we will bring the Lasers and the Spare Torches.  Penny is coming with us,” said John Robinson.

“Over and out,” said Will.  “Dr. Smith can you please get out our Radar Scopes so we can watch out for Danger or Dad.  Put the setting on High so we can detect if any are coming,” said Will.

“Really William, you tell me to bend down and get those silly Machines.  I simply will not do it.”

“Dr Smith, Please!” said Will.

“Oh Very well William,” said Dr. Smith.

“Will,” said Pro. Robinson.

“Dad!!”

“So this is the Cave you were talking about.  It is certainly really old.  What we will do is we will split up into groups,” said John, “Will and Penny you go together in the North direction and Don and Myself will go in the East direction.  Dr. Smith you go in the West direction.  We will all need Torches and Lasers.”

“Professor, you certainly don't want me going on my own in that Dark place,” said Dr. Smith.

“Okay Doctor, you can come with us.”

“Thank You so much Professor Robinson.”

“Will and Penny, the Robot will be here in a minute and will help you,” said Don.

“Okay,” replied both of them.

“Dad maybe you should carry the Radar Scopes while we use the Scanner and Radar Detectors,” said Will.

“Okay we will use the Radar Scopes.  Keep all Radio Channels open and If Mum calls, tell me Okay,” said John.

“Okay,” said Will and Penny.

“Lets go Penny I wonder what we can find.”

“Come on Smith let’s go,” said Don.

“Very well, Major,” said Dr. Smith.

“Look Penny I can see something on the Scanner that is really close.  Lets Investigate.  Well according to the Scanner the thing should be right here,” said Will.

“ARR,” said Penny.

“What's the matter Penny?”

“Look behind you!”

“ARR,” said Will, “What is it?”

“Its only me, Will Robinson.”  It was the Robot!!!

“Ha Ha,” laughed Will, “Why did you give us such a scare, Robot?”

“Well I didn't know if it was you or a Alien.  So I decided to just do a little Scare,” said the Robot.

“But your Senses would of Sensed us here,” said Will.

“No, I have not charged up my Batteries and before I came here I had to fix something very difficult on the Jupiter 2 then I had to help Judy Robinson to get something off a shelf.”

“Sounds like you have had a busy day already for the Morning,” said Penny.

“Will!  Will this is Dad.  Come back to the Jupiter, we haven't found anything, how about you?”

“We found something Dad,” said Will.

“What did you find?”

“The Robot!!!”

John laughed.  “Well come back to the Jupiter, we will continue the search after Lunch.”

“Okay we are on our way back now.  See you soon.  This is Will Over and out.  Lets go Penny and Robot we need to back for Lunch.”

“Yum, Lunch was Fantastic Mum,” said Will.

“Professor Robinson, Professor,” said the Robot.

“Yes?”

“My Sensors are telling me that there is Danger come right for us,” said The Robot.

“What kind of Danger?” said John.

“A huge Giant.  It was hiding when we were looking for any life this morning,” said Robot.

“Why didn't you tell us that before?” said Don.

“Nobody asked me and as you are aware I can't ask questions only answer them.”

“Don, you remember the Force Field/Laser beam we were building?” asked John.

“Yes.” Replied Don.

“Well we can use both the Laser and the Force Field to get heaps of Energy and the Blast him out of the way,” said John, “Robot how long till it gets here?”

“It is very slow so it would take about 1 hour for it to arrive here,” said the Robot.

“Okay that gives us a lot of time,” said Don.

“Why can't we just lift of from this planet?”  Asked Judy.

“How do you expect us to, first thing we are low on fuel, then our navigation control is burned out in the Electrical storm we had and to round it all off we need to get all our gear back from around this planet and that could be Dangerous,’

“But we can always send Dr. Smith,” said Don West.

“Really Major, telling a poor man to go out there when there is my life at stake,” said Dr. Smith.

“Don!  Get in that ship and get ready to fire.  I will hold the machine and you wait till I say to fire”, said John.  “Now Maureen you get the girls and go below deck, Will you help Don, Dr. Smith you go to your Quarters,” said John.

“Yes, Yes what ever you say Professor,” said Smith.

“John Look Out,” said Don.

“Its the Giant Dad!  Quick point it at him,” said Will.

“Okay get ready, NOW!!!!!”

ZZZZZZZZTT.

“I've got him, great timing Don,” said John.

“Okay get the others up here Will,” said Don.

“Yes Sir,” said Will, “Mum, Judy, Penny, Dr. Smith, Dad got it!”

“Thank Goodness for that,” said Maureen.

“Dr. Smith,” said Don, “I want you to go to the Drill sit and get 14 cans of fuel DAILY.”

“Wait minute Don isn't that to little, make it 20 cans of fuel,” said John, “Will you go to the Drill site after Lunch and you get 10 cans of fuel and Judy and Penny you get 15 cans each.”

“Don and I will work on the repairs and Will can you fix the Robot, he has a Sensor or Memory Bank problem.” Said John.  Talking of the Robot, “Where is he?”

“Oh he's down stairs resting his batteries,” said Will, “Also Dad I am going to get my Laptop and Reboot the Robots Memory and Power systems.”

“Okay Smith you go and do your first can of fuel and make it snappy,” said Don.

“Major I can't go out there, my life is at stake and I can't wreck my lovely back,” said Smith.  Everyone giggled.

“Smith you can bring the Laser and Scanner”, said Don still giggling.

“Very Well Major I have important work to do,” said Dr. Smith.

“Its Dark time now and we have a lot of fuel,” said Don, “Will and Penny come here.  Because you haven't had any fun today why don't you look at this bright star in the sky.”

“Wow, Don its Fantastic and bright,” said Penny.

“Yes it is really bright,” said Will, “Dad when are we lifting off?”

“Son we are lifting off tonight,” replied John.

“Well that's a good, at least we don't have to wait on this planet forever,” said Penny.

“Don is that the last Station,” said John.

“Yes I have the last station.”

“We are lifting off in 2 minutes.  Will and Penny so you better get strapped in,” said Don.

“Okay Robot we want a countdown from you,” said Don. “Oh and everyone below be ready for anything because those Giants are tall and they can grab the ship,” said Don.
