*Mumy is the Word as Williams Tells...* ARCHIVES

As one of the most popular child actors of the sixties,
Billy Mumy emerged to be a seasoned actor, singer, writer, producer and father... but to millions, he remains the young anchor stone of Lost in Space.

Especially for Australia; Bill now speaks...

Issue 26/27

Hi everyone in Australia!

Every time I've received Alpha Control, I read letters from everyone in the cast of Lost In Space - but there's been no Mumy! So here I am. ...Well, it feels to me like the entire 12 months of 2000, has just zipped by at a Mercurial pace! It's been a creative and productive year for me. Writing a fantasy novel with Angela Cartwright, working on the Overload feature film, writing two pilot scripts, releasing my third solo CD; Pandora's Box, writing and recording with Robert Haimer for the Yeah: The Essential Barnes and Barnes CD, and writing another 7 songs for the next musical project... Check out my website www.billmumy.com ... there's a lot of new Mumy-created stuff out there.

Let me say too that I'm very grateful to the Lost In Space and Babylon 5 fans that have invited me (on more than one occasion) to Australia. Since I was a little boy, there's been a large part of me that really wants to come to Australia. Even when I was on Lost In Space, I was a certified scuba diver and I wanted to visit your Great Barrier Reef I know you have a beautiful country and all the Aussies I've spoken to over the years are great folk. So one of these days I'm going make it work out, and I am indeed looking forward to that time, but at the moment, the flight time is just prohibitive to me.

On 25-26th November, I was with June and Angela in Ohio at a Thanksgiving weekend convention and we all had a great time - we did a couple of panels together. ...

...And it's good. It's all real good.

I wish you all healthy, happy, peaceful days and a wonderful 2001.

Peace,

Bill Mumy
