Here are Nicki Buckley and Glenn Ridge from Australia's "Sale of the Century". 
The Robot made his appearance in April, 1998 to advertise the release of the then upcoming
Lost In Space Movie.

With his specially designed and constructed set, our Robot appeared for 5 nights in the gift shop. Behind him was a television set displaying the trailer for the upcoming Lost In Space Movie. He waved his arms, and spoke his lines right on cue.

Dick Tufeld provided the special recordings for each episode, so the effect was SPECTACULAR, and quite genuine.
